The Blending & Glazing Brushes hold just enough water to Allow for one or two-stroke glazing without delivering too much water to your paper. The flat edge bristle enables you to create thick and sharp chiseled shapes or wet-on-wet techniques. Brushes in the "Signature" series feature fine nylon bristles that have Unique shaping abilities that Allow the brush to snap back to its original shape after Each stroke. The round brushes are excellent for fine detail or broad wash strokes. Each brush has a stainless steel plated ferrule attached to a High-Quality blue resin handle that will never chip or crack.

This filament holds just enough Color to deliver excellent results without deluging the paper with too much water.
• The filament hair is characterized by its excellent shaping abilities and its incredible brush response which Allows the brush head to snap back to shape after Each stroke. The slim profile of the flat brushes Allow controlled Applications of Color while maintaining a sharp edge Allowing you to "cut-in" shapes without difficulties.

The bristle hair holds a lot of Paint but little water, so you can lay larger and bolder shapes into the wet paper. Cold Pressed and rough Surfaces are lovely to work on but when you need to blend, you reAlly need a brush that will work its way into the tooth of the paper. The stiffer bristles do this better than softer hairs.
